AutobiographyMy childhood is dead to me now; as I lie here in the dirt, my body scattered into the winds of my origin, faces flicker before me like memories and I recognize no-one. They forgot me so long ago. I became the whispers of legend; a fading name, once written in bold ink on somebody's family tree. There were journals, too. They pulled them out from my attic. History was not important to them. They let me fall to ashes, my memory lost with the lives of my great, great grandchildren. I can trust no-one. I am a ghost to them.Autobiography
